Does anyone know how the voting on the posts works? I always assumed the score a post recieved was the average of all votes given to it, but I just saw a post with a score of 2.3 with 2 votes which would seem to kill that theory. Any thoughts?

All voters are equal: some voters are more equal than others :-D Yes, even I am blogging now!

Votes are weighted by the status of the voter.

It's a weighted average that depends on your level of membership. Jeremy Falcon

I've been in and out. :) Actually, all the bickering in the Soap Box has kind of turned me off of chatting here, but I still read the articles (sheesh, I sound like I'm trying to explain away the Playboy in my nightstand), and I've been lurking around the Lounge regularly. BTW, congrats on your new position with CP. What are you doing?
