      and they would have to process Some 5,000 million tonnes of lunar soil to get the 25 tonnes of helium to fill the shuttle. :eek: Steve

                    Not really. The moon still orbitted the Earth in the movie, just as a group of broken pieces instead of as just one object. Of course since it moved in closer, I would expect the tides to be higher and the moon group to be moving faster since it can't sustain an orbit at that previous speed.
