similar post: http://www.codeproject.com/script/comments/forums.asp?forumid=12076&fr=76&select=980378#xx980378xx[^] internet is full of free resources, bt you have to figure out what is cool and what is cr*p :( As for books, I don't know. I've learned ASP.NET (and I am still learning) from internet (mainly MSDN), VisualStudio.NET Help (which is nothin but offline MSDN), from my friends and from people here on CP. Btw, read other's code! That is great way how to learn a lot. :) Bt if you are beginner in programming and did not code any Web apps before, it mayt be good idea to buy a book about ASP.NET. In case you didn't even code before, I suggest you to read some books about general programming first. :) And http://www.w3schools.com/[^] for general web development (HTML,XML,...). regards, David 'DNH' Nohejl Never forget: "Stay kul and happy" (I.A.)

Hi there, I happen to know a copy of the e-book for ASP.NET: ASP.NET Web Developer’s Guide[^] As dnh said, MSDN and CP are very good places where you can learn about ASP.NET. Below are some of online resources: http://www.asp.net/Tutorials/quickstart.aspx[^] http://aspnet.4guysfromrolla.com/[^]
