Longhorn thunks
-
Long horn will not thunk 32 or 16 bit dll's. I answered a question in c++ the other day and was dead wrong. Although longhorn will thunk 8 TB of memory, it will not load of support current dll's. The Jit makes this impossible. nmake will not compile, period with currrent 32bit CV6. Crash and burn, and M$ say's not conversion will be created. Any of you bright people see a market? http://www.financialdevelopers.com/assets/presentations/Microsoft - Unix Migration and the Visual C++ Roadmap.ppt#17 Longhorn: "A stupid breed of cattle that are often killed while standing under tall tree's during lighting storms."
