I got a notification email today from them that a new version is available and I didnt bother to download the new version. After coding a few hours I must say - its a very good peace of software. Cant image coding without this VS addon anymore. Any cpians here which uses this product? bb |~ bb

won a licence for my smart pointer article. I was initially happy, then a bit pissed because it was the the very month Dundas removed their grid from the price pool. But after trying VA-X I am hooked. I am so dangerously hooked that I'm afraid I can never code without VA anymore. Showed it to a collegue - after less than a minute he was hooked and jelous. It's not even the "less typing", but the confirmation that I'm picking the correct variable name / member etc. (So, Dundas, you can keep the grid, and WholeTomato, you are going to make a sale as soon as my co gets rid of his Win98 box)

We're planning to buy it as soon as our company actually makes some money. :laugh: I used the VC6 version for quite some time and it made a huge difference to the useability of the IDE, so I'm expecting big things from Visual Assist X. On an unrelated note, it's so ubiquitous that I need to test ResOrg[^]and Visual Lint[^] (especially the latter, as it does some pretty heavy background processing) alongside it. I am unable to code without it now: i don't think i've typed the fullname of a variable in a long while. :-D The kindest thing you can do for a stupid person, and for the gene pool, is to let him expire of his own dumb choices.
