weekend plans
-
I enjoyed a day off from work on Friday, visited some friends for dinner/drinks late night coffee, got some christmas shopping done. I plan on relaxing the rest of the weekend too, maybe setting my Christmas tree, clear my drains of leaves, watch football tomorrow, catch up on some reading, and probably try my hand at making fresh Cream of Broccoli soup tonight. Nothing too strenuous.. Just wondering if anyone has some fun weekend plans. BW The Biggest Loser

Unfortunately, the forecast is for showers...:sigh: "If it's Snowbird season, why can't we shoot them?" - Overheard in a bar in Bullhead City

I said "fun", Roger. That doesn't really sound fun. ;) Is this your roof? I'm picturing all available pots and pans placed strategically to catch the drips. I hope things clear up enough to get it all patched up. I'd hate the thought of walking around on my roof, cleaning my gutters 20' up is exciting enough for me. Good luck. BW The Biggest Loser

-The StovesYup, my roof. The one I put on 5 years ago. In July. X| The heat and wind here have so dehydrated the roll roofing material that the protective rock coating is separating from the underlayment in broad areas, leaving the paper exposed. Sheesh, what do I have to do to make anything stick in this climate? Mud and straw, maybe? "If it's Snowbird season, why can't we shoot them?" - Overheard in a bar in Bullhead City

We went out and got our Christmas tree last weekend too. Glad to get it. I always enjoy that trip. This weekend I start going to a crap load of Christmas parties. Should be fun but busy. We'll see. Last week we did a lot of shopping too. Got a few people knocked out. Got my neice and nephew these little toys called bed buggs. My dad got a little fanny pack from LL bean. My sister got a gift card to staples, for all her teaching supplies. Only a few more people I'm really worried about, including my mom and brother. We'll see how that goes.
