Urgent: Killing Threads

Hey, I have a dialog appear while a thread is running. But on this dialog i want to place a cancel button that cancels the thread when it is clicked. Is there anyway that VB.Net knows which threads are running in the app so it can kill them? Thanks for your help, this is really important Chris
