iPod worldwide?

Could I use an iPod here in Argentina? I mean, I do have a credit card, but when I try to use it on the net, I can't because, it's like the card can't be checked up from the internet. So, how could I use the iPod and pay for the tunes I download...? Let me rephrase that: Does any of you live outside the U.S. and have an iPod and use it for what it is? Pablo.ar

I think you mean the Apple Music Store and not iPod. The iPod is a device that works pretty much anywhere. You then get iTunes which is a piece of software that does three things; It is a music file manager. It loads music files onto the iPod and it lets you use the Apple Music Store to buy songs. Only the last one, the Apple Music Store, is country restricted for reasons of music copyright protection. As far as I know the store has launched in three countries now, the USA, Canada and the UK. If you are outside of those countries, e.g. Argentina, then you cannot use the Apple Music Store. You can still use iTunes to load music onto your iPod though. Music that you may have ripped, legally, from your CD collection or some such. regards, Paul Watson South Africa The Code Project
