I turned 18 today. I'm officially, according to the state, an adult. Does that mean I have to start acting like one now? :-D

Congrats! Buy some good cigars, and contemplate the chances of draft reinstatement...

No, not yet. That happens officially at age 30. You are then allowed to regress (return to normalcy) in your mid to late 40s. Have a good one !

JoeSox wrote: Still using Trillian Pro? I just upgraded to Trillian v3, which means I need to re-register my license. But I might just stick with the basic version. I dunno...I'm contemplating shelling out the $25. But I could spend that on a lot of other things...like gas. Oh crap...I am becoming an adult. :omg: JoeSox wrote: Have you registered with the Selective Service System[^] yet? Actually yes, I did that this morning. No big deal, I don't think there'll be a draft, and if there is, I'll just walk down to one of the local recruiting offices and sign up for whichever branch I thought I might like the best (probably the Navy). I'll take that test that all my ex-military friends talk about, they'll determine that there's no way in hell they should let me have a gun, and I'll get slotted to an intelligence desk job. ;)

Why can't I get the beer icon to work? Is it like the old Oktoberfest song: "In heaven there is no beer...that's why we drink it here...". Therefore CodeProject must be heaven? Can anyone help? Beer gooooood.
