It is midnight here in Kerala. I can see people fleeing along the road in front of my house. There is a warning that within the next hour Kerala coast will be hit powerfully by the tsunami. And there is also talk that all these are warnings and predictions are a hype to compensate for the absence of them yesterday. This is very much possible because the concerned people are saying things without any scientific basis. I really hope there wouldn't be much casuality. The live news now says that the situation is pretty much OK now. The sea water level is coming down slowly. And the inward flow of sea water into rivers has also lessened. Smitha Every problem has a gift for you in its hands. -- Richard Bach

Hope all will be safe. As much as it may be hype, its good to know that at least some information is being provided. Somehow I thought the west coast will be safe.
