Have you used any consultant proofreaders for the english language? I have a swedish health/fitness application that I'm translating myself to english, but I need it to be perfect native US english. It's about 75.000 words. Any suggestions? Any of you people do proofreading? Regards, Björn Morén Stockholm, Sweden

ask for volunteers here? maybe some people are willing to set aside about 5 minutes a day to look at the translation... -- Raoul Snyman Saturn Laboratories e-mail: raoul.snyman@saturnlaboratories.co.za web: http://www.saturnlaboratories.co.za/ blog: http://blog.saturnlaboratories.co.za/ linux user: #333298

My company (Riverblade) would be more than happy to help out. Although we don't have any Swedish speakers here, my speciality is useability, which includes clarity and accuracy by definition. I also enjoy (technical or otherwise) writing, and have been heavily involved in writing elements of technical proposals and bids for large contracts, as well as a fair bit of help authoring. What form is the text in? Anna :rose: Riverblade Ltd - Software Consultancy Services Anna's Place | Tears and Laughter "Be yourself - not what others think you should be" - Marcia Graesch "Anna's just a sexy-looking lesbian tart" - A friend, trying to wind me up. It didn't work.

I was thinking about two things: 1. Do I need proofreading? Perhaps someone with the necessary skills can tell me how bad state my english is in. I have example translations to send over. 2. Can you give me any tips on proofreaders? I will absolutely not exploit any friendly people here. This is a commercial product (although small one), and I will pay for the proofreading. Perhaps someone want to make extra cash? Just checking before I mail translation professionals. Regards, Björn Morén Stockholm, Sweden
