Hi friends ;) I got a logitech mx510 mouse, but I did not liked its shape. Now I'm thinking about purchase a MS Explorer 4, which I'm in love because I could put it on my hands and the shape seems like a glove to me :) But...I'm a hardcore user of the additional mouse buttons (mx510 has a total of 8), and I pretend to use the "tilt" buttons associated with functions like window/close windows/minimize, etc, AFAIK these functions can't be associated with the tilt button. My friend said that I could download the mouse drivers (Intellimouse) source code and change the keys as I like it...do anyone have information about that ? I don't think it is a programming question :) Thanks! GuimaSun www.nexsun.com.br NEXSUN TechZone

You want to download the copyrighted source code for a Microsoft mouse driver and/or Intellimouse control panel? Uhhh ... What has your friend been smoking? The tilt of the wheel, in the Intellimouse control panel, doesn't have definable definitions, at least not in Intellimouse 5.x. In order to get this funtionality, you'll have to either write you own Intellimouse control panel, from scratch because Microsoft is not going to release the source for it, or wait until Microsoft does it for you. I've got 2 of these and they are great except for one thing - what moron decided to take the "clicks" of the wheel??? - there's no indication on either of the 2 I have that it has moved enough to activate, and it's driving me insane. I'll be playing a game, go to change weapons and it will jump 2 weapons or, even worse, I won't move the wheel far enough to activate it *sigh* Other than that though, they are very nice - I'm just hoping they bring back the clicks in the next version. And there's no setting for defining what the tilt does, only what the buttons do :(
