    I have a question about an article and have posted a new thread on the articles page however, I don't know if anyone will ever read it there. The article is as follows: http://www.thecodeproject.com/dotnet/ManifestInjection.asp[^] My question was, how is it possible to find out that the Resorce Type RT_MANIFEST was represented by the integer 24? I want to update a resource of type RT_RCDATA. I believe that this should be represented by the integer 10 but am interested in confirming this and the integer values of other resource types. Can anyone help? I have found a list of resource types here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/winui/winui/WindowsUserInterface/Resources/IntroductiontoResources/resourcereference/resourcetypes.asp[^] But it does not say how they can be represented. Any ideas much apreciated. Regards Wayne Phipps ____________ Time is the greatest teacher... unfortunately, it kills all of its students LearnVisualStudio.Net

      I just search the Platform SDK include dir for the symbol in question. Those are the official definitions, after all. winuser.h has this line:

      #define RT_RCDATA MAKEINTRESOURCE(10)

      so it's 10. I don't know how you'd do this without the C header files though. --Mike-- LINKS~! Ericahist | 1ClickPicGrabber | CP SearchBar v2.0.2 | C++ Forum FAQ | You Are Dumb Strange things are afoot at the U+004B U+20DD
