I've been looking around for a project management book and came across the Project Management Institute Bookstore[^] but I figure it might be a good idea to ask if anyone here has any suggestions before I buy. I'm just looking for a fundamentals type of book, something to get the wheels turning. Any recommendations would be appreciated.

I'd recommend Eric Verzuh's Fast Forward MBA in Project Management[^] I've taken several seminars by his company and used his book. It's a handy reference and cuts to the chase. ~Nitron.
