How many dots does it have ? It could be an IP address. If it's not, I can't imagine what it is. Christian I have several lifelong friends that are New Yorkers but I have always gravitated toward the weirdo's. - Richard Stringer

Thank you for responding!!! I have been at it since Friday... trying to teach myself computer language. I guess it is supposed to translate into a 8 digit combo of letters and possibly numbers?? ending in htm. 3735928559:-O
If you convert the number into hex, you get DEADBEEF Steve

I am not sure what a geocacher is but I will give you an additional clue: Using a "hex" one can change 3775928559 to something of the form ****BEEF. (Where * represents a single character) With the blanks field in one could say the result could make PETA pretty mad. ;-)

Well, looks like you entered your response while I was entering mine and it was no where near as cryptic. ;-)

The number converted into an IP address is 222.173.190.239 which does not appear to be an active IP address. Steve

If you go to www.geocaching.com it will explain what a geocacher is. If you really want to explore, then look for cache with waypoint GCM6GH. You will find the source of my frustrations. DEADBEEF was the magic location. Thank you for allowing me to access your incredible knowledge!!!

http://www.geocaching.com/[^] You place a small "treasure" (nothing valuable, more like a treasure token) in a hidden spot, and leave a trail of hints, involving GPS coordinates. I pick up the hints, and try to find the treasure, using my shiny new GPS thingie.
