Ramanan Sivan wrote: Reading bbc.co.uk the day before the Superbowl I read an article about last year's "wardrobe malfunction" was displayed in full without any blurring. I found that suprising but its good that there's one website out there that's not censored. That was a nothing incident really. Showing naked bodies on TV isn't a problem for most of us Brits. We don't get scared by nipples anymore. Of course some of our TV channels have gone a little too far, but they are on satellite and not proper programmes anyway. I thought it was a non-issue too. Hell I watched that program and I didn't even notice the damn thing. Who pays that much attention such a lame-ass song in the halftime show ? "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

That's not surprising - it was hardly hard core pornography now was it. Well, not to most people anyway, only the vocal ones with the biggest sticks to shake. :(

I've seen twats written uncensored on the BBC before at the beginning of a Fawlty Towers episode, but I never thought I'd see the day when they published a news article containing the word fuck uncensored in print. Let alone the phrase "Now fuck off and cover something important you twats!" : http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/4247237.stm[^] I guess you can't censor the news.

From the ruckus it created you would imagine that they both had sex on stage or something :) I think most people simply did not give a damn about the whole incident but the ones that were offended would not shut up and that's why we're still talking about it one year on. "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

I wouldn't want my kids seeing that, and I'm willing to bet there are a lot more people like me. What I find ironic is these TV stations allow skimpier and skimpier clothing daily and yet when a skimpy garment flops it's all of the sudden horrible. Or seeing 95% of a boob or a chick in lingerie is ok, but the nipple is just wrong. Well, if they would've made her ass put some real clothes on to begin with they could've prevented the thing all together. If people want to look at naked people, then at least keep it on the channels that can be easily blocked. That way everyone is happy and not just one side of the fence. And then, parents can let their kids look at all the tits they want. [edit] And yeah, it is scary that I'm starting to think like a parent now. [/edit] Jeremy Falcon

Well, I do think if the network didn't allow the skimpy clothing in the first place, it wouldn't have happened. I figure they should both be fined. Jeremy Falcon

Will you allow your kids to be breast fed? What if you have two kids, would you let the older one look on while the other one is breast-fed? Just what is so horrible with seeing a partially exposed breast (her nipple was covered) for one second? Everyone and their mothers has seen breasts. Regards, Alvaro
