What's the smallest area everyone in the world could fit into? Standing side by side in tight rows, the planets 6.1 billion souls would occupy 512 square miles, based on each person having a tight, but not suffocating, 0.26 yards. The Faroe Islands are 540 square miles, so everybody could easily fit on to them with 28 square miles free for hot dog vans, portaloos and a lost property tent. - Peter Scott, Readers Digest, June 2001 What's you're most interesting piece of information? ________________ David Wulff http://www.davidwulff.co.uk "My grandfather once told me that there are two kinds of people: those who work and those who take the credit. With a neutron star you could get them into the size of a sugar cube, but of course this would be more than suffocating..

If you allocate a space 1.5 feet square and 6 feet tall, all could be placed in single cube about 1 mile wide and 1 mile tall. Basically a few city blocks sized cube. Ed

                        3. Marilyn Monroe had six toes. This is not correct. There are many, many pictures of her on internet that show ten toes, five per foot.
