Which "free gift" should I pick?
-
I asked my boss if he'd be interested in sending me to an MCAD "Boot camp" certification training class, and it seems like it might be getting approved (I hope). Anyway, when you sign up, they offer you one of three free gifts: * Microsoft XBOX * Palm Tungsten E * IPod Mini Well, the XBOX is out - not because I don't want it, but because my wife would divorce me if I got one more thing to play video games on. So... Which would you choose, and why? The Palm? Or the IPod? -Todd Davis (toddhd@gmail.com)

I would pick the iPod Mini but then PDAs and me don't mix. PDAs are tricky things. Everyone wants one, few need them. Many who get them dump them after awhile. regards, Paul Watson South Africa The Code Project Pope Pius II said "The only prescription is more cowbell. "

Take the iPod for sure. I've had several Palms and Pocket PC's and I find the cool factor wears off quick. You're in front of a PC all day, why do you need one in your pocket ? If you were a sales rep, that's a whole different story. Christian I have several lifelong friends that are New Yorkers but I have always gravitated toward the weirdo's. - Richard Stringer

Get the iPod. If nothing else, the resale value should be more...

Yes, the resale value for an iPod will be better than a Palm Pilot. Then you could buy a Pocket PC 2003.
