Hi im a microsoft visual c++ programmer (3 years). My patience has finally ran out with  'Loading dependencies...' , which occurs unpredictably when changing source code while the project is running. You see it takes about 2 minutes to finish, occurs instantly with no warning and freezes the computer until it decides it is done, and is the most annoying thing  EVER  in the history of computing. Ive tried on numerous occasions to disable it (it is supposed to happen because of sourcesafe, but I removed all links to sourcesafe and it STILL happened  :((). I need to find out :suss: who is responsible for this monstrous idea and Id be very happy to see him castrated and fed to piranhas. Is anyone willing to join me in this quest?;) "Life begins at 140"

Kill the .ncb, .asp, .opt, and maybe even the .clw file and see if it helps. You may be bringing those in from ss.
