;)I have a client/server application developed in .NET, I would like to re-architect the application to 3 tier architecture. the problem is that my Rich Client accesses some hardware resources from the client's machine, how can I do the same thing from a web browser? Thanks,,

You cannot access a client's hardware devices through a browser without some sort of ActiveX component. If you could, I wouldn't browser the Internet. -BC
