I'm just wondering how many of you are photography enthusiasts with photos on Flickr. If you are would you share your photos (well, just link to them so we can have a look) http://www.flickr.com/photos/colinangusmackay/[^]

Is there a reason for those loads of photos to be private or do you wish not to share everyday life with strangers on Flickr? regards, Paul Watson South Africa The Code Project Pope Pius II said "The only prescription is more cowbell. "

Paul, I signed up to Flickr to share my wedding photos with family and friends. My wife was initially (and probably unnecessarily) concerned about paedophiles intercepting these photos, since there are a lot of photos of children. So at the start I just uploaded everything as private, always meaning to go back and selectively 'publicise' most of the shots. I now have hundreds of photos uploaded and never seem to get around to it...was hoping Flickr would come up with a shortcut way of changing permissions on a whole bunch of photos at once... So yes there is a reason....I'm lazy! ;o) Dan

I think respecting your wife's wishes, however crazy, is a good idea. As for batch operations you can do it now. If you have these photos in a Set then go to your set and click on the Edit as Batch link underneath the Set description. Then click the tab titled Batch Operations. On the right hand side then are some radio-buttons to change the Privacy of the selected photos. regards, Paul Watson South Africa The Code Project Pope Pius II said "The only prescription is more cowbell. Most of them are fine - the guns scare the crap out of me. Especially the ones all neatly lined up on your sofa....

I only lined them up on my sofa to take the photo - normally I keep them in my bed.
