Hmmm - I posted the 'pick the faces' comp as a quick week long thing for a bit of fun (and as an excuse to shamelessly give away other people's books) but I've not had a single correct entry! Give me a shout if you want hints :) cheers Chris Maunde

Chris, How about making it multiple choice with a selection of radio buttons under each picture. That would at least define the selection of choice for the gang, and it might make it more fun.

Heh, well I can say I definitely know one face (guess who, Chris). ;) Unfortunately, if the guy hasn't been on the cover of a Wrox book, I wouldn't have a clue who he was. :

Ah, Chris it's easy, and not just 'cause I know these guys already. The first 3 guys are clearly from Wintellect, and all their pictures are posted on their site. You've only had two guests answering questions on the site, so it shouldn't be brain surgery to come up with another potential name. Seems likely that you'd stick your own mug in there somewhere too. So that only leaves one more, and I think that one will be tough. Not sure if he's written a book for Wrox or not..

Well, actually it was tougher than one might imagine. Yes, the three guys were from Wintellect, but one of them has almost nothing about him posted on the web site. He's not listed in any of the course materials, nor does he appear to have a picture there. So there really were two tough names to come up with, not just one.
