MSN IM v7 beta - unable to log in?
-
If anyone is using the v7 beta, can you connect to the service right now? I just installed SP2 on my main dev machine yesterday (yeah, I'm slow) and ever since, I can't get on the MSN service. Trillian (v0.74I) can't connect either. Turning off the SP2 firewall made no difference. [edit]Never mind, at about noon it magically fixed itself... weird[/edit] --Mike-- LINKS~! My big issue with the beta is that it doesn't save conversations correctly most of the time. And the silly "winks" are probably going to set the record for Feature That Gets Turned Off The Fastest. --Mike-- LINKS~! I have been able to connect ok all day. But I'm taking it off some other boxes right now as it is a pain. I strongly suspect it is managing to knock my ADSL router offline. Wierd that!!?! Regardz Colin J Davies The most LinkedIn CPian (that I know of anyhow) :-)
