I am in need of a simple knowledge base to run on our intranet. I can't justify the expense right now to buy a full featured product. I started writing it myself, but I just don't have the time. Does anyone know of an open source knowledge base? Jeff Martin My Blog

Try FlexWiki. It's ASP.NET based and free. Easy to use, and quick to setup a KB. At least, it's what we use here. I see dead pixels Yes, even I am blogging now!

Thanks, someone else had mentioned that and I set it up yesterday. It seems like it will serve the purpose. Jeff Martin My Blog

Looks nice, but fails the free test. Plus, I've already written a help desk. That's one of the reasons I want and open source solution. I would like to provide the techs on the help desk with an automated way of creating a KB article from a help desk ticket and also provide the users with relevant KB articles when they are entering a ticket. You can get a free licence for 1 agent... don't know how many you have.
