I was typing a site into my IE address bar, thought I typed CTRL+ENTER to get the www/.com added, and saw the address become right justified. :~ Apparently I clicked CTRL+Shift. flipping between the left and right shift keys will switch the justification. Learn something every day... :) BW

      Hmm... Ctrl/Shift doesn't do anything for me (IE6, XP SP2). /ravi My new year's resolution: 2048 x 1536 Home | Articles | Freeware | Music ravib@ravib.com

At work IE6 / Win2k, I got nothing, too. My setup at home where I saw this is XP SP2 / IE6. It's been a strange day though, so maybe it never really happened. BW

It's not justification it's shifting, but left-to-right/right-to-left. If you want to type in something right-to-left in a left-to-right installation of Windows, that feature may come in handy. :) [edit]To clarify: I'm talking about inputing text in languages, which are right-to-left. For example, arabic, hebrew, etc. So, if you'd want to enter hebrew text on your favorite hebrew forum, but you've got an english version of Windows, you'd probably want to temporarily switch over to right-to-left, and that is what shift+ctrl does for you. Ctrl+left shift = left-to-right, and Ctrl+right = right-to-left. But these features are only available if you've installed support for foreign languages, I think. Or is it an SP2-thing? :~ [/edit] -- My name in Katakana is ヨルゲン. My name in German is Jörgen. My name in Mandarin/Kanji is 乔尔根 西格瓦德森. My name in Korean is 요르겐. I blog too now[^]

You da man, Jörgen. Thanks. :-D I do have language support installed for complex script/right-to-left languages. Not sure why, but I do. I thought changing justification seemed like a bizarre feature ... BW
