drink coke and then sleep. When I drink coke and sleep I get the best sleep I can imagine -.- maybe because I have a constant level of coke in my body ^^

:omg: You've got to be kidding. The level of caffiene and sugar in CokeTM is enough to kick start a T-Rex. Unless of course I've assumed to wrong kind of coke :~...

That's nothing -- I once stayed up 48 hours straight programming almost the entire time -- a massive Perl script to format data tables into a 180-page LaTeX book - for my PhD research - ack -- ~344 iterations total...then I promptly totaled my little Honda driving back to get some sleep... X| Sincerely Yours, Brian Hart Department of Physics and Astronomy University of California, Irvine

Sounds familiar. Back during my undergraduate days, I had one quarter where I did two 40+ hour days in a two week period. I was taking two software classes, an engineering lab class, and I had an independent study course. On top of that, I was taking philosophy 101 as a general education requirement from a pr*ck who hated engineering students. Completely insane.

:-D I remember those days well. Does the Commons still stay open 24 hours all during finals week, and serve coffee and donuts all night? That was a godsend, as I couldn't go home - no gas available in Orange County. Thank goodness I didn't crash the car once I did get fuel, though... Someone else did that for me a week after.:sigh: "If it's Snowbird season, why can't we shoot them?" - Overheard in a bar in Bullhead City

Go to they gym, that helps me when I can't sleep. 1. It's too easy to get into a vicous cycle of not being able to sleep 2. Let those in the programming forums make a bit more of an effort. Some of the questions I see in there are ridiculous and make it harder for the worthwhile questions to get answered. Elaine  The tigress is here :-D

I take it you're tired.;P Ok ok, just so you know, there are some folks who just plain appreciate your efforts but never post about it. I happen to be one of those folks. I hope you feel better soon, Colin. You're one of the good guys around here. A good night's sleep can work wonders. :)

Is that for daylight savings time? I think they do that in late April around here (it usually seems to coincide with the start of baseball season)
