Huge quake hits Indonesian coast

Yeah, I was reading about it about an hour ago. Too bad! But no human or material damages were reported at the time of that writing, even though it was huge (8.2 Richter is a lot) I just hope everything turns out well, they had already huge losses with the tsunami three months ago. :( -- LuisR

Thankfully there is no tsunami this time, it seems. I heard that on NPR just now. I was worried about that so I thought about it and then decided that it was worth it to call and wake my parents and warn them, so I did it (they live on the coast in India) Curiously the radio was calling this an 'aftershock' of that earthquake "One of the Georges," said Psmith, "I forget which, once said that a certain number of hours' sleep a day--I cannot recall for the moment how many--made a man something, which for the time being has slipped my memory."

Cnn broke away from the Schiavo case and the Jackson trial long enough to report *anything* else? That's odd.

Interesting that the first earthquake in that area was the day after Christmas, while this latest one was the day after Easter.
