        I think it refers literally to a cheap suit in that cheap suits always have ugly creases, or fold lines, as the material "gives in" easily when folded during wearing - such as when the person sits for long periods of time. A more expensive suit is made of better quality fabric and holds its shape better while being worn.           I would guess that its meant literally, e.g. cheap suits do easily get creased or folded (e.g. less resistant materials). It also could have something to do with the fact that the seams on cheap suits are badly placed, so they don't lie on top of each other when the suit is folded. But then, it would have a different meaning. Another explanation I can think of is that "cheap suits" (i.e. people who are wearing cheap suits) give up easier. I would stick with the first explanation, though - minor materials "give in" easier. Cheers Sid
