Bug Tracking (again)

Demo'd it a while ago. Has both a Windows client and a Web client, should you ever decide to use it. I liked it, but my employer at the time decided to go with a proprietary web-based dealio. Test Track Pro[^] FWIW, if you decide you can stomach a web-based solution, I've been impressed with FogBugz 4.0. Free online trial[^]
Jon Sagara I said NO salt, NO salt on my margarita!!
My ArticlesWe've been using TTP for a while. Not the snazziest app out there, but gets the job done. Has a SOAP API that looks interesting, but i haven't had the opportunity to mess with it.

Does anyone have a bug tracking system they've written in C++ (or even started writing)? We don't want to use any of the web-based crap that's available. It doesn't have to be super duper or anything like that - just something that works reasonably well... ------- sig starts "I've heard some drivers saying, 'We're going too fast here...'. If you're not here to race, go the hell home - don't come here and grumble about going too fast. Why don't you tie a kerosene rag around your ankles so the ants won't climb up and eat your candy ass..." - Dale Earnhardt "...the staggering layers of obscenity in your statement make it a work of art on so many levels." - Jason Jystad, 10/26/2001
Did someone mention ToDoList? And don't call Bugzilla "web-based crap", Bugzilla rocks :-D I see dead pixels Yes, even I am blogging now!

A bug tracking system is one of the web sample apps that ships with our C++ app server, and is written in C++. If you are interested, I may be able to hook you up. onwards and upwards...

I don't know if it's adequate or not. I can't download the VC6 version because of corporate security filters (we can't get to "personal pages"). Maybe you could make the VC6 part of your article, or convince the guy that poretd it to create an article for it. I can't use the demo project posted in the article bcause I don't have one or more VC7 related dll's. Can we get those anywhere without having to install the vs.net? Can I put the database file anywhere on a network and then point the program to it? ------- sig starts "I've heard some drivers saying, 'We're going too fast here...'. we want something simple to setup and that does not require a web browser to work. ------- sig starts "I've heard some drivers saying, 'We're going too fast here...'.
