Where is your Taskbar?
-
David Wulff's "How do you use Windows" topic, made me think about the Taskbar, mine is always at the top showing a single row with grouped buttons, most people I worked with always found this strange :| So how is your task bar? Top, Bottom, Left, Right, AutoHidden, MultiRow? Phil Harding.

I've always had mine on the bottom but, now that you mention it, top seems to make more sense because it puts it alongside menus etc. from application programs. I think I'll give top a try --- it does look weird though. John Carson

I like a "well rounded" task bar, I make sure the top and bottom are filled out appropriately. ;P Left, Right, kind of middle of the road, I don't like taking sides. ;) AutoHidden, MultiRow? both, either, depends... _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. I want to set it auto hidden. But then, you can't see the time without moving mouse or pressing the keyboard, can you?

But then again, what do you need the time for? You should switch the box off, once you're done and no sooner ;P /matthias
I love deadlines. I like the whooshing sound they make as they fly by.

myBlog [^] | mySite [^]If I can remember the URL correctly, I uplaoded a small picture of my desktop for a weekly poll post a few months back... http://www.davidwulff.co.uk/daves_desktop_sm.jpg[^] There is a full sized version too, just take the _sm off the URL. Bottom, single row, separate taskbar on each display. Grouping is off (I've never run out of screen real-estate yet).

alright... how did you get the taskbar to display at the bottom of every screen? I have three unequaly sized monitors, but pretty much the same setup.
