Hi everyone, We kicked around a few of the bits of hardware in the hosting centre this morning in order to free up a bit of a bandwidth bottleneck we'd been seeing. As far as I can tell things are much better but I wanted a quick straw poll. How is speed today: 1 = worse, 3 = same as, 5 = better cheers, Chris Maunder
When I visited 1/2 hour ago it was pathetic but now briliant - havent seen it run like this for at least 6 months - if it stays like this I will start visiting regularly again! 5++ :):-D:laugh::-D:););P:sigh::sigh::):-D

I've been 5 times now - so the card has more than paid for itself. I'm hoping to get to Linlithgow Palace or Stirling Castle this weekend. And I might venture in to England sometime as I can get a 20% discount as there is an agreement with the English equivalent. If you are a member of that you can get discounts in Scotland.

Waay faster, not just the message boards: I submitted an article through the wizard yesterday and today, the difference is astounding. Today it was instantly responsive, yesterday it was taking forever and I had to reload sometimes three or four times to get it to respond.
