Hi guys, I was recently interviewed by Microsoft at Dubai. These were face-face interviews. In my session there were 6 guys and among them 2 of us including myself had 5 interviews, all other had 3 interviews. My interviews were with Windows Sustained Engineering Group. In total they interviewed about 50 people and most of the people including myself had got rejection :(( though i did well in all 5 interviews.. No one has got acceptence as yet. May be it was biaseness bcoz i am Pakistani and my interviewers were Indian.. dont know. will explain the complete interview expereince in next part. Dude, I'm sorry for what happened to you, but blaming it on the 'other' party is not very professional. :| But if you want to post the complete experience, I'm all ears. :) Vikram.

You didn't by any chance attend the interview in a t-shirt that said "All Indians suck, except Nish", did you? That might have got them a tad biased - not all Indians know about me ;P :-D [jus kidding] Try for other positions in MS - lots of people got 2-3 rejects and got in through the 4th or 5th chance they got :-)

Well, that was just a doubt.. I am not blamming them 100% that it was the reason. Actually having rejection from a company, whose product are itegral part of your life, Even most of the development tools i use r from M$, that make u feel bad every time u work on them.. Its hard man.. But thats life..:sigh: Muhammad Shoaib Khan http://geocities.com/lansolution

Mr. Khan, Such comments might have been originated from ideas and attitude that you might have shown during your intreview, and prevented you from focusing on the technical side of the interview. Simply, you might not have had the skills that they were looking for. Cheers Ghazi It is Illogical to define an inventor by his invention

Few years back when I was interviewed for MSFT I got rejected too. But I know that technically I was not the one they are looking for. In the interview panel there were number of people (different nationalities incl Indians), but I don't blame their nationality for my rejection.
