Firefox gets to 50,000,000 downloads

    Firefox gets to 50,000,000 downloads[^] Another impressive number is that Firefox got up to 30.9 % of the browsers in Finland[^]. While I realize that probably IE7 beta will reach those marks on the first day it's released, I believe it's quite an impressive mark for an OSS software or any software that is created by a small group without a huge ammount of money, and I'm glad to see that it's still possible to reach a huge ammount of users without being MS. I see dead pixels Yes, even I am blogging now!

                  Of course not, people won't put up with a small banner ad in Opera (which costs them nothing) so why would they want to _pay_ anything.. :^) Tim Stubbs
