Naw, it is going to be cool this year. We put down 1 July for here. If we win we get to go to Banff. (Right) I do not mind getting old. It beats all the other options that can think of.

That it reaches 100°F here, of course... It's 98 now.:( Get your bets down, ladies and gents... We really should have a pool, and another for when it will freeze first in Toronto, maybe. Boredom, Bull$^%&, Baggage, Bar - all start with 'B'

 That's got to be miserable! I hope that's about as high as it goes - I wouldn't wish higher on anyone. I'm hoping that here we don't get a hotter summer than usual, given the cooler and wetter than normal winter we just had. I *know* that there's no causality that can be proven, but I fear there may be a balance that must be restored - cool winter => hot summer. Boredom, Bull$^%&, Baggage, Bar - all start with 'B'

Add to that humidity of 70-80% and you can imagine how bad it's like. I guess it's not as humid out there where you are, Rog.

They call that Monsoon season, though we usually don't get actual rain, just a heavy overcast and humidity that works with the 130°F heat to suck the life out of you. Curiously, today is supposed to be a rainy day, as is tomorrow, but if it stays under 100 it shouldn't be too bad.:-D Boredom, Bull$^%&, Baggage, Bar - all start with 'B'

Thanks for the education. I did not know it was named in honor of another place. For me I would not mind seeing both! I just need to retire early enough to do so. I do not mind getting old. It beats all the other options that can think of.

At least you have the river to play in, Roger. We have the man-made Tempe lake here, but I sure wouldn't swim in it.
