I'm being made redundant tomorrow. I have been offered a place at a local University to do a PGCE (Post Graduate Certificate of Education) in Desing and Technology. It's a 10 month uni course to become a teacher. I'll be teaching Electronics with Resistant Materials (aka Woodwork & Metalwork) as my secondary subject. This means I'll be using computers but not programming them anymore!!:cool::(:( Anyway thanks for all the help everyone has given me since this web site started.

I hope whatever you do works out well for you. And keep visiting, like that photographer(:-D) said. Vikram.

Good Luck! And don't assume that you have to leave us because of the change in course. Stop by for a visit occasionally! Boredom, Bull$^%&, Baggage, Bar - all start with 'B'

£7500 tax free from the government. £8500 if I was doing Maths or a science. Then £4000 taxed if I can stick teaching for more than one year.
