My quest for the perfect sandwich continues with today's new recipe: "Beans in Toast" - featuring a toasted sandwhich of cheese and baked beans! This is almost as good as my last invention featuring cream cheese, ginger, spring onion and soy sauce. Joel Holdsworth Wanna give me a job this summer? Sorry man, I'm 40 this year and I have been eating beans on/in toast with cheese since I was knee-high to a grasshopper. You owe me royalties ... ;P What's you home address? My lawyers want to talk. Gary Marc Clifton: "In other words, VB is like a bad parent. It can really screw up your childhood."

Ah, students! Gotta love 'em! Reminds me of the old urban legend when I was a student...as follows: A student in became the first recorded case of scurvy in 300 years in England. Investigators discovered that in order to feed himself, he spent half of his grant (the other half on beer of course) on oats, honey and greaseproof paper. He then proceeded to fill an entire drawer in a chest of drawers with the greaseproof paper lining, and the oat/honey mixture. When set, he cut out chunks and ate a piece each day in order to save on meal costs. As our U.S. cousins would say, go figure... Regards, Barry

Paprika mixed with baked beans as awsome! Actually, I tend to throw in diced Chorizo (Spanish sausage that is spiced with paprika) for the extra protien
