I'm so excited I'm afraid I will emit light after the movie. -- An eye for an eye will only make the world blind.

Pretty cool. I must admit I had a uneasy feelin, not having to fight my way into the movie theater. I tought it would be much more difficult, but on thursday, 18:35, I could get it just fine. Ther was only about 50 other watching along with me. Maybe it's because I live in Quebec, Canada, where the predominant language is French and I watched it in English. (I speak both languages, but I prefer C++) I don't know, but it does not seem to gather as much of a crowd as I remember from the past. (Maybe it's because I now consider myself to old (38 years old) to see the movie at midnight or 3:00 am, when the real fan goes to see that movie)

Actually this is pro'ly a funtion of the numbre of screens it is now showing on versus the number of screens the original showed on back in the day when multi-plexes were just beginning to bloom upon the scene. SWIII opened in 3996 theaters with an average of 10 screens per threater and pulled in over 50 million dollars(domestic) in the first 24 hours. We're going to see it this afternoon - reviews seem to be generally favorable, but consistently down on the dialoge.

Watching Star Wars for the dialogue, is like watching Pr0n for the storyline. Star Wars movies always tell the story by the visuals and the music. Oh and if I see one more reviewer try and link the Iraq situation to the plot of Star Wars, I'm going to go all Anakin on somebody's ass. Michael CP Blog [^] Development Blog [^]
