Hi, I'm looking for an app to create ISO image of CD. In particulater I want to create an ISO of the W2K CD for use in VMWare Workstation 5. Also I've got cut-down version of Nero Express and Sonic Digital Media LE on two new PC's. Most folks fell out when Roxio (Sonic) screwed up a few years back. Nero Express is too cutesy for my taste, but heh. So what is everyone using for CD/DVD Burning these days? I assume you'll recommend Nero, but thought I'd check before splashing out cash. For some reason every time I recommend this one to people they love it. Let me know if it does the trick for you. The price is right. http://cdburnerxp.se/index.php[^]

Thanks. I tried this earlier today, but couldn't see a way to create an ISO image from a CD. Then something I did try, got it to hang big time. It does look good though. But DeepBurner is looking like the one so far. Neville Franks, Author of ED for Windows www.getsoft.com and Surfulater www.surfulater.com "Save what you Surf"

How about creating an .iso of a slipstream? That way you'll never need to install service packs if you need to re-install again. Article

:suss: Pssst. You see that little light on your monitor? That's actually a government installed spy camera. Smile and wave to big brother!
