Just thought I'd pop by and say Happy Independance Day to all you lucky blokes who didn't have to work today. See you all again next year. :-D

Hey, cheer up! I just wanted to say hello to all the poor coders you forgot. :-D I have to work today, and tonight I'll sit in evening school, fighting through an exam in database design. Tomorrow I'll have to get up at 5:00 am to catch the train to Frankfurt. And you tell me about happy guys who celebrate a nice holiday at the moment... _________________________________ Please inform me about my English mistakes, as I'm still trying to learn your language!

fighting through an exam in database design I take it you have all 56 normalization forms memorized? I find it gets a little tough after 35NF.

:suss: Pssst. You see that little light on your monitor? That's actually a government installed spy camera. Smile and wave to big brother!

Luckily, we're "based upon reality" or what we think real life is like (or what the teacher himself understands). I won't need more than 3NF. _________________________________ Please inform me about my English mistakes, as I'm still trying to learn your language!

Thanks! :) It's the last exam before summer holidays, and only two tasks (second half of the test) will be about database design. The other half is supposed to be PHP programming, that's easy for me. Anyway, I have a reason to leave my office early today: Can't afford to be too tired at school. _________________________________ Please inform me about my English mistakes, as I'm still trying to learn your language!

Let's celebrate the day that Great Britain got rid of those troublesome colonies :) I still remember having to write your own code in FORTRAN rather than be a cut and paste merchant being pampered by colour coded Intellisense - ahh proper programming - those were the days :)

Yes Americans are good people - even if their administration is not.
