Has anyone created or seen an FTP addon for Windows Explorer? What I'm looking for some thing that would let you highlight files, right and say "Upload to FTP..." or some such thing I think it would be a dang handy thing. If no one know of such a thing i may try to write myself. gb

I'm not sure how handy that would be considering that with Internet Explorer you can drag and drop files from Windows Explorer to an FTP server folder very easily. Just navigate to your FTP folder using one Windows Explorer window and drag and drop the files across from another?

If you user Firefox there's a great extension for it you can download that has quite the nifty FTP program in it. I like it alot. https://addons.mozilla.org/extensions/moreinfo.php?id=684[^] - Rex

I just copy files from the source Explorer window and paste them in the target window that's browsing my FTP site. Perhaps I've misunderstood your question? /ravi My new year's resolution: 2048 x 1536 Home | Articles | Freeware | Music ravib@ravib.com

Hummingbird (http://www.hummingbird.com[^]) do an FTP Explorer. It's not integrated with Windows Explorer - but I think it provides the functionality that you require (you can drag and drop between FTP Explorer and Windows Explorer).

I use WS_FTP Pro (I think its an 'Ipswitch' product if that helps) - which does have an Explorer Add-In - its quite good - on NT it could sometimes crash Explorer, but I dont have much trouble under W2K and above 'G'
