Dinner last night went rather well, but it's followup time. I have no idea what modern twenty-something year old ladies enjoy for entertainment. When I was that age they were into clubbing, surfing, smoking dope and strumming guitars; times have changed. I'm planning an escape from the heat for a barbeque in the mountains on Sunday, but I'm stumped for any other creative ideas beyond that. Suggestions, anyone...;) "...putting all your eggs in one basket along with your bowling ball and gym clothes only gets you scrambled eggs and an extra laundry day... " - Jeffry J. Brickley

I'm afraid to mention any of *my* creative ideas for fear of permanently scarring the psyche of someone's younger sister. :) ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! Well for one thing have you mentioned you're a CP Gold member? I mean, come ON, your Roger "Ffing" Wright. Let's get some perspective here. She should be honored just to be talking to you. I'd just talk about Code Project - that seems to work with Paris Hilton. Clearly I have no clue here... ¡El diablo está en mis pantalones! ¡Mire, mire! I might have missed a posting or two here, but is this a second date? If so... If she enjoys being with you, it won't matter what you do together. On the other hand, if she doesn't enjoy being with you, it won't matter what you do together. In my experience, if you have to "try" with someone, it's never going to work.

Here in Idaho there is a very cool train that does dinner rides. You get on this baby for about 3 or 4 hours and you get dinner while you are on it. It's very cool and my wife loves the idea. It's about $70 a couple and it's a perfect 10 in terms of showing them a good time and also showing them you can be creative. The train here is done up really well and it's a perfect casual dining experience. Check into stuff like that. It's a lot of fun. Of course there's also cow tipping and ice blocking, spud gun wars and spitting contests but those are more unique to the Idaho region than anywhere else.:omg: - Rex

I know you can't become if you only say what you would have done and you'll miss a million miles of fun." - Len Work hard, play hard. Don't forget who you are and don't forget where you're from. Do all these things well and you won't have to wonder where you are going.

Do what *you* think is fun. You can't guess what she'll like. As Graham said, if it's right, what you like and what she likes will mesh. Also, from my experience girls get turned on by focusing on having fun as opposed to focusing on impressing her. In other words, it's cause and effect. I think frog's idea is a good one. There's a Grand canyon train ride that's similar to it. That's up there by you, isn't it? Little to the east?

It wasn't my idea, but I'm not about to argue; a gentleman never argues with lady. I'll just go along for the adventure, and see what - if anything - comes of it. So far, though, I'm very impressed.
