Welcome back to civilization, Nish.:-D Without air conditioning we usually have 10 or 20 dead people to contend with. This year has been light... so far. My office is at about 67F (19.5C), all the locals bring sweaters to visit me -- I say it is for the mountain of computers, but it is really for me. If I know I have company I will warm it up to about 72F which is the top end of my true comfort area. I am accustomed to being uncomfortable, if that makes any sense. I refuse to be aclimatized to 110-120F temperatures during the summer and enjoy wearing short sleeved shirts during early and late winter temperatures in the 50-60's. Call me eccentric, I have learned to appreciate the variety that even a desert can have (I refused even that the first 5 years, it was ugly, miserable, and nothing was good); but I don't think I have to learn to enjoy 48C to live here. :D edit: my apartment is evaporative cooling (aka swamp cooler), it will not cool to a comfortable temp for me during the day. So I leave for the mountains during the weekends when I am not working. _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau.
