Hello This is my first post on The Code Project. I joined yesterday. I am a friend of Nish. I am basically a VB/ASP programmer. I've seen Nish spending half his day on The Code Project. I always wanted to join, but was a little hesitant because I understand this is primarily a site for C++ and MFC. But Nish said that won't be a problem at all. So here I am. I hope Nish won't tease me. Smitha

I'm rather a fan of VB myself, Nish. There's nothing 'Visual' about VC++. At least in VB you can actually place objects on a form and manipulate them in the form. Makes life a lot simpler... I resort to VC++ only when it's impossible to do in VB. And I don't happen to think that that's only because I'm dumb. If VB will do the job, that's what I'm going to use. Engineers are essentially lazy people. We search for ways to make things easier, and VB does many things much more easily than VC++ can ever do. The right tool for the job is my watchword, and I see no reason to expend one bit of effort more than it takes to do the job at hand... A bird in the hand is worth what it will bring...

Only until you have to find all those objects (placed in all the various forms, hidden outside the visible form area or in the tab control inside a yet another tab cotrol and other interesting places...) and change one of the property on each one. All you need is a pattern[which you can download from the net and print out], a piece of glass of reqd size and paints of reqd colors. The paints are available in ready to use bottles, all you have to do is squeeze the bottle n spread the paint on the glass surface.
