A URL of some sort... :~ Seriously, what ever happened to commenting on (or at least describing) linked articles? This is supposed to be a message board, not a newbie blog!

It sounds like Steve Jobs' infamous "personal reality distortion field" has once again deformed the space-time continuum at Apple headquarters, rendering the world in this lovely pink hue. Even a diehard Microsoft assimilatee such as myself thinks it would be rather cool to have a second commercial-quality choice other than Linux.

Yes indeed. There was a time when one could use MFC to write apps for the Mac. In fact, a high degree of portability was claimed if one did things right. If that could be achieved today it might be very cool.

Exactly. MacOS is a much better suited OS for the Desktop users than Linux. Linux will never ever hurt MS on the consumer level, but having MacOs accessible for PCs would really change the game. I'm convinces Apple would make more money and gain market shares much faster if they released the OS for PCs.

I agree, there is a need in the market for a friendly (non MS) OS on Joe-user's desktop. Regardz Colin J Davies The most LinkedIn CPian (that I know of anyhow) :-)

I am home ill, so I can pretty much safely click on anything with the sound down and drapes shut. But at work, I wouldn't touch a blank link with an offline downloading script. :) _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. Thanks but I was speaking specifically of MFC compatibility. Although, considering the nature of my work, this is probably of very little value.
