Following on from the IQ thread, Assuming that most of the people here are fairly intelligent people, which would you rather be intelligent or happy? (Ignorance is bliss) Michael :-)

I'd prefer to be intelligent and the saddest man on earth, rather than being a dumb stupid happy fool!!!!!! Nish Nish was here, now Nish has gone; He left his soul, to turn you on; Those who knew Nish, knew him well; Those who didn't, can go to hell. Given the choice between being an intelligent but perminently sad person or being a person who is dumb as mud but perminently happy and ignorant or their lack of intelligence. I'd pick the second. If I was always unhappy I'd end up doing away with myself...What the point of living if there is no joy to be had? Pete

Funnily enough it is intelligent people who have a higher suicide rate, not "stupid" people. I guess "stupid" people are happier with their lot in life and do not have all these worrying thoughts and possibilities in their head. regards, Paul Watson Bluegrass Cape Town, South Africa "The greatest thing you will ever learn is to love, and be loved in return" - Moulin Rouge Sonork ID: 100.9903 Stormfront
