... because in Texas we know how to handle this kind of person. I can't belive the toughest thing you can do to someone in Kansas is to ensure they can't get parol for 40 years. It's a good thing he is 60. If he were 25 he would could get out when he 65. He doesn't deserve to live that long. Sorry for the rant but I grew up in Wichita during the time he was loose. He created fear in everyone in the city and ruined so many lives just to get his jollys. I'm not a real big advocate of the death penalty but if anyone deserves it, it's him.

Ummmm he got 175 years with no chance of parole. I think that kinda means he isn't going anywhere in a hurry and I wouldn't be too surprised if he had an "accident" whilst in prison.

Actually I think he can get parol in 40 years. I could be wrong though. But I guess I think he deserves the death penalty and the fact he can't get it kinda irks me.

Thus the longest they could give him would be 10 consecutive life sentances or 400 years. Because he saved court time by offering full confession, amoung other things, they gave him a break, 175 years. _________________________ Asu no koto o ieba, tenjo de nezumi ga warau. The sentences are to be served consecutively, i.e. one following the other. So, he may get parol on the first sentence after 40 years, but would be put right back in prison on the next, consecutive sentence, and the next, and the next, and the next...

The guy definitly is one sick object. (calling him an animal would denigrate them) I think the death sentance is too good for him. I'd throw in some of his own treatment, aka torture. Regardz Colin J Davies The most LinkedIn CPian (that I know of anyhow) :-)

You and I think alike Colin!! He doesn't deserve to live, but he doesn't deserve to die painlessly either. I don't know about other countries, but I sure wish this one would stop trying to be a bunch of a wusses. Because, if we were tougher on the criminals, then there would be less criminals to begin with. Instead, we give them 3 meals a day and a TV. Jeremy Falcon
