:| Now a Half Life movie, there would be something worth seeing.

Actually, did you checkout the home page for Yahoo today?? The Rock is starring in the new DOOM movie, comming out in October. Looks pretty close to EXACTLY like Doom3. Even shows a bunch of first person (behind the gun) views, just like in the game. Even the chainsaw! ;) RageInTheMachine9532 "...a pungent, ghastly, stinky piece of cheese!" -- The Roaming Gnome

This is a movie that after you've seen it, you can claim that "the game was better". :) Good music: In my rosary[^]

Oh! No doubt! It's just more proof that Hollywood no longer has any fresh ideas for movies, let alone good ones... MTV just produced Aeon Flux (Charlese Theron) for a September release. The trailer, at least, holds very true to the animated version. RageInTheMachine9532 "...a pungent, ghastly, stinky piece of cheese!" -- The Roaming Gnome

So, since the page isn't loading for me... Is this going to be based on the boring-as-mud-to-watch video game, or the boring-as-slightly-interesting-mud "Red vs. Blue" sketches animated using the video game?

Weren't Wolfenstein, Doom, Quake all supposed to become movies? Maybe one did and I missed it.

"Is it a blue spider? GET IT OFF!!" I only watched the first season, but I thought it was funny. :| -J
Think of a computer program. Somewhere, there is one key instruction, and everything else is just functions calling themselves, or brackets billowing out endlessly through an infinite address space. What happens when the brackets collapse? Where's the final 'end if'? Is any of this making sense? -Ford Prefect

You know, I have no idea what or who Aeon Flux is, so I might just be able to enjoy the movie. :) Good music: In my rosary[^]

It was, but i couldn't help but wonder if that was only because anything is funny after watching someone actually playing the game die 20 times in a row, in the same way, on the same spot. :~

I think it ran on MTV for a couple years. It's .... ummmm .... unique. A very sexually overtoned anim'e about a female assassin. Extreme(!) gymnastics and weapons... RageInTheMachine9532 "...a pungent, ghastly, stinky piece of cheese!" -- The Roaming Gnome

Wait, so Universal and Fox get the business, but doesn't Gates own part of Dreamworks? David

Speaking from personal experience, Josh? ;)

You know, now that i think about it, i've never really played Halo stand-alone. A moderate number of deathmatch games, and a huge number of hours spent watching roomates play stand-alone. For some reason, watching never made me want to play. :~

The multiplayer is more fun anyway. :)
