Bit of an advertisement but this is a good one. For one day only Opera, the browser company, is offering the full version of Opera 8 for free. No ads, no spyware, no nothing. You just email registerme@opera.com and they send you a registration code for free. It is a really decent browser and the only reason I have not used it in the past is because of the ads for the free version. regards, Paul Watson South Africa Colib and WebTwoZero. How long does it take to get a registration code? I emailed them a couple of hours back, but haven't got a reply yet and have to leave. :( Could you get an extra code for me please, Paul? Hmmm... how ironic - I'm asking for registration codes to free, legal software. Cheers, Vikram.

Thanks for letting us know! I just fired off an email. I likely won't switch from Firefox to Opera as my main browser, but I do use Opera, especially for site testing, and it will be nice to not have the ads.

I emailed them, too. But I didn't get a reply either. Can it be, that we mailed too early? Cause it says on the download page: Download.com This offer is valid from 12 a.m. Tuesday, August 30 to 12 a.m. Wednesday, August 31 2005 (PDT). A google for PDT showed that PDT=UTC-7hrs UTC is now 13:23, i.e. PDT is now 6:23 a.m. Am I correct?
