To quote from the catchy song in the hitchhicker's guide to the galaxy recent movie, "The world's about to be destoyed" "There's no point getting all annoyed" "Lie back and let the planet disolve around you" "So long so long and thanks for all the fishes"

I would take a vacation, and fly some place with nice beaches. And just relax and embrace the inevitable. If it's the sun going off, then I imagine that it will be a spectacular firework show. Assuming it'll happen during the day where I'm at. The thought of total annilihation is both frightening and comforting at the same time. It's comforting in the way that all troubles would cease to exist, and there would be nothing to worry about. Nobody would have to take care of my dead body, nor would I be under pressure to accomplish anything. I suppose religious people would be a bit more tense during the last time on earth, as they'd start repenting for their sins. I think ending up in hell for them would be quite the bummer. :)
