Anyone from the US?

Well, considering the fact that he doesn't know proper English, I doubt he'd get past the immigration office after having called them cunts, twats, <insert rude word here>. :)

In truth I have no problems with any number of immigrants, regardless of race, creed, color or belief and I really don't care who serves me with what and when. I only object to multi-culturism and the slow and steady hijacking of our culture by the muslims because the present govt spends so much of its time rolling over for them so as to try and appease a voluble and small segment of society who wish to dominate the indiginous culture by whatever means possible. This really is case of the loudest argument winning the day. But I could murder a chicken jal-frazi...

chicken jalfrazi, hmmm, used to be my top of the list, but I switched to a chicken dhansak with two chapatis. Just perfect! Anyway, god I miss curries here on the mainland, when in rome... any imigrant needs to get out of the ghetto and adopt the culture he/she is moving into. they'll never integrate otherwise. what grips my shit is the teaching in hidi, or urdu, in state schools, just because there are sufficient numbers. we do roll over too much in the UK. If I go and live somewhere foreign, I learn their language. I wouldnt go and live there if i didnt like their society and didnt want to be part of it! Nunc est bibendum!

Do you really think it is wrong that pakistanis are in the UK doing jobs like this? I worked in watford years ago in electronics, there were a lot of pakistani women who worked there. They used to brighten the place up a lot with their colourful saris. Plus, you gotta love curries, where would we be without that! Nunc est bibendum!
Are you sure they were Pakistanis? Not too many of them wear saris. fat_boy wrote: Plus, you gotta love curries, where would we be without that! Well said! :) Cheers, Vikram.

You would be surprised at the number of Americans who know absolutely nothing about New York. I've lived my entire life in the US and have never been anywhere near New York and have no desire to go. In fact, my family has lived in North American for the better part of three centuries, and I don't think any of them have ever been to New York. By and large, however, Americans are a very tolerant, open minded, friendly and hospitable people, so I'm sure you would do well wherever you might decide to settle.
